On Steel Cut Oats: When I first started making overnight oatmeal
I read a recipe wrong and picked up steel cut oats (when they had said NOT to use steel cut oats).
Of course I always
read my recipes wrong and usually do nt catch myself until it is too late!
So sorry... I realized just after I posted my comment that I had
read the recipe wrong.
I had a slight panic when I realized that
I read the recipe wrong and used 2 1/2 cups of flour instead of 2 1/4 cups.
Not exact matches
Something seriously
wrong with this
recipe; I was hoping for some sort of magical leavening effect not evident from a
reading, but didn't happen.

But the thing that bothered me the most about this
recipe was that I had to take the chicken out, boil the sauce in a separate pot to thicken it with cornstarch and put it back into the crock - pot, which I feel defeat the purpose of the crock - pot (unless I
read the steps
wrong).
I am excited about trying this
recipe as I have
read almost all of the reviews and think I can not go
wrong here!
Maybe I
read it
wrong but the ratio you talked about had 115 g fats and the
recipe called for 140gm grapeseed oil.
NOTE: If you

I followed the
recipe to a «T» and I've
read and re-
read the
recipe to see what I did
wrong.
This
recipe sounds very yummy, although I am confused by the noodle part...... Missing from the
recipe maybe or am I
reading it
wrong?
Apparently I was
reading the
wrong recipe books.
