For one thing, that doesn't work, except to disrupt your potential relationship with
readers, and for another, I
like my
readers, and hate
spam as much as the rest of them (unless it's fried crispy with a little fresh pineapple).
As is, newsletters are all the rage and we're
like giddy teens at a rock concert going after the
reader until this too is an unwanted
spam glut.
A cold email doesn't have to feel
like spam to the
reader as long as you put in the effort to make it mostly about them and only peripherally about you.
