In my twin boys» randomly assigned kindergarten classroom, some students entered school
reading Magic Tree House chapter books, while other students were just learning their letter sounds, a four - grade - level spread among five - year - olds (pre-K to 2nd grade).
Part of it was returning to school for the start of first grade and having a friend who enjoyed
