This is why I have been
reading a lot of books recently about Scripture.
Not exact matches
I've been doing a
lot of reading on church history
recently (for that
book I'm writing... Close Your Church for Good), and it constantly amazes me how much
of what we do «in church» is a result
of tradition (so much for Sola Scriptura) which developed 1000 - 1500 years ago as a result
of a politician or priest who wanted more power or more money.
I have been doing a
lot of reading on violence and warfare
recently, and this
book is one I wanted to
read, mainly because I so much appreciated Vance's
book on Calvinism.
We've been sent a
lot of new children's
books recently which we've been
reading over and over, including the new
book from Gruffalo author Julia...
I
recently read the
book Lights Out: Sleep, Sugar and Survival, which though poorly written in parts, has a
lot of good information on the science behind the importance
of sleep.
I get a
lot of emails asking natural fertility questions, and I
recently had the chance to
read and review this
book: Naturally Knocked Up, which is a great resource for couples who are trying to conceive.
I was also briefly unemployed
recently and I
read seven
books in two weeks, so, quitting your job will give you
lots of time to
read, haha!
I've
read a
lot of good indie
books recently that are much better than the drek being spewed at me by the publishers for the last 20 years.
Recently I
read a
book where I made a
lot of annotations.
My brother started at the same time I did but he paid too much for Coke, Mattel, MCD, Exxon and so on so all his stocks were down by a
lot recently... He also put US dividend growth stocks inside his TFSA account and as such lost 30 %
of his dividends... With the recent dip he has decided it was enough and quit the plan... I'm sad he didn't take the time to listen to me a little more,
read more
books and blogs and educate himself a little more... but he's not a very patient guy.
I review quite a
lot of books on here, more than time will permit me to
read and I've had to turn down

recently due to my ongoing travels (currently in Brazil for the World Cup), but sometimes when a new
book comes out, I get excited.
