As happens with many good books, I stumbled upon More Than Serving Tea by accident, after I
read an
interview with one of its
authors, Nikki Toyama - Szeto, at Intervarsity's «The Well» blog.
In an
interview with The Politico, University of Virginia theologian Charles Marsh,
author of Wayward Christian Soldiers and the son of a Southern Baptist minister, stated: [68] «As someone who grew up in Mississippi and Alabama during the civil rights movement,... my
reading is that the conservative Christian movement never was able to distinguish itself from the segregationist movement, and that is one of the reasons I find so much of the rhetoric familiar — and unsettling.

I think the
author interviews I do are responsible for most of it, but I do find that I prefer
reading shorter posts on other blogs (unless they are really super awesome, in which case they can hold my attention for more than 1300 words +!)
not going to jump the gun and say it is, like I said I haven't
read it.But when the
author writes a sequel to to one of his best sellers which was turn into a movie.You got a think, if this book as good as the «Shinning» or even better.Also, I saw the movie and I always wonder what happened to the mother and the son.Well, the book picks up where the book / movie sort of left off.Here's an in depth
