And FWIW, if you haven't read The Great Rebalancing yet, it might change the way you view things at the moment — I know it did wonders for my understanding, althoguh I keep forgetting important parts of it and have to relearn them by reading Michael's (unfortunately infrequently) blog posts.
A few weeks ago, I wrote a post title'd «Great Blogging Tips I Learned From Smart Passive Income By Pat» My goal was to purely, share my experience on how I read Pat's blog and put his advice into action.
I quite often treat this blog like a diary, so sometimes I'll stray away from talking about my personal finance and share my current thoughts, I'll be excited to go back and read some old post when the years go by, and it will help me reflect on the overall journey that has been experienced, because as great as the end goal of early retirement is, I would imagine the character developed through such a process has more then just monetary value.
However, this means a great deal to me, so I'm posting it in case this might help some of you who read this blog.

I recently read a post by another mom, a terrific writer who fills her numerous blogs with all kinds of «great mother» articles: gardening, cooking, natural parenting, crafting, just the kind of articles that make the reader (me) feel inadequate that I'm not doing those kinds of things on a regular basis in MY house.
