Sure, the Kindles and
Nooks and others were all very portable with their 6 - inch screens, but I had already concluded that

Nook though it getting to the point nothing to it other than
reading I miss the extra features I once had
on my
nook and kindle, just really don't want to go with a kindle to be locked in one eco system
So if you want to
read Word documents
on the
nook, you'll need to do the conversion yourself.
(I personally have found that although I have a
nook, the Amazon store has better SF / F selection, which means I still occasionally buy from the Kindle store to
read stuff
on my iPhone.)
I find my
nook to be sub-optimal for
reading in less than direct sunlight, such as when I'm commuting to work
on the bus during the winter, and the bus lights are likely to be turned down in between stops.

I have one child who loves to
read on a
nook because she can carry the entire library with her and doesn't have to worry about running out of books.
Even my wife when she uses my
nook says it takes her a few days to adjust back to her kindle, it's so noticeable once you've
read on an ereader that doesn't have that refresh while you are
reading.
The new technology will allow customers to borrow ebooks from any library online or in the physical location and then
read them
on any Android device or certain e-readers like the
Nooks.
I kinda wish I had bought a glowlight, too, since I do most of my
reading in the dark and have a large inventory of
nook / fictionwise books that can no longer be
read on another device.

reading but my budget doesn't allow as many books as I would love to
read so I look for good Christian fiction and Christian books that are free and can be put

i've been shopping around for a reasonably priced e-reader for awhile and one thing i don't like about the
nook tablet is that it's so closed off and i had
read that the
nook tablet has a locked bootloader that basically renders the card useless and i do nt want to waste 50 dollars

read, but I also have stacks of physical books, and my
nook is filled with purchased books, library books, and manuscripts from awesome writer friends.
