I didn't have enough money to buy
the real board game so I designed my own game with similar game mechanics.
I was surprised that my friends preferred to play my game instead
the real board game.
It's a great look, and I wouldn't mind having
a real board game made of this.
The former definitely has a lot of potential for friends and family sharing the same couch, but my family usually sticks with
the real board game.
Just like
any real board game, things are a bit more complicated when you go into detail.
Much like
a real board game, human or AI opponents take physical time to complete their turns.
To be honest, I was skeptical that Catan in VR could capture the feeling of playing
a real board game, but I was willing to give it a shot.
