To improve our record of protecting the public interest vs our own practitioners» interests in the face of complaints received herein about our practitioners from both the public and
other real estate sales people regarding less than acceptable behaviours / practices as exhibited by said alleged offenders.
The foregoing advice highlights what is sadly lacking too much of the time with newbie
wannabe real estate sales people... the total lack of underlying education (both institutional and observational in nature) and industry - related experience prior to same buying into the real estate licensing courses.
It seems to me, by way of your very words, that you just may be a
stereotypical real estate sales person... a money monger perhaps... just like Terry Paranych appears to have been pre RECA Hearing decision.
The «You don't try real estate, real estate tries you» quote is so true, but what is also true, sadly, is that too many consumers end up trying too many
incompetent real estate sales people, thanks largely to Organized Real Estate's «Let's keep the turnstiles well greased (both in and out models) but especially the «in» model» attitude.
A truly good
listing real estate sale person will make evident all negative factors vis a vis a property being inspected by a potential buyer for one critical, trust building reason; whatever the listing sales person says thereafter about that property in a positive vein will be believable due to the exposition of the negatives up - front, willingly.
But you know if any one
real estate sales person attempted to make phone calls against the rules of the DNCL we'd be strung up in a second, but people calling from out of the country can get away with it.
