So, I'd love to be actually wearing this
outfit now instead of the worn out khaki skirt you always see me in, so maybe between now and next Wednesday it will cool off and I can get some
photos in
real fall clothes.
I totally admire you for sharing how you feel about your body, and that not every
outfit looks as good in
photos as it does in
real life, and perception about breast sizes — I mean, NO ONE understands that a cup size is not a fixed size and that it gets bigger or smaller based on the band size.
Sometimes I will shoot an
outfit and realize it looks completely different in
photos than
real life (confirmed by people who saw me in
real life) and don't blog it because it's not the most flattering or something is off.
(Which I was; we just wanted to experiment with taking
photos in this location, so I grabbed a few things and threw them on) I would never wear this

real life; the twill trousers are far too casual to be wearing with this hat and blouse, and the hat doesn't go with anything.
In the interest of keeping it
real, I will tell you that I haven't actually worn this
outfit yet other than for these
photos.
So, I don't have any «
real»
outfit photos for you today but I do have an important lesson — take time for «me time.»
I've been loving my white sneaks for quite a while now and the switch out of the white laces for black struck me as a great way to connect the shoes to the
outfit (even if I had to borrow them from my
real trainers for the
photos because I forgot to buy new laces in time for the
photo shoot).
Also, I now think «in photographs»; I know exactly how I want something to look in a post (Some
outfits look great in
real life, but they photograph badly, so I don't bother putting those
photos on the blog).
Folks, we are getting to the point where taking
outfit photos is starting to get
real embarrassing.
As I'm trying to be a little more «live now» I insisted on stopping the car to take some
photos... So this is as
real as it gets as this
outfit really was what I was wearing on Sunday...
I've always been proud that I do wear what I post about, but taking
photos ahead of time vs.
real time leaves that door just a little bit open for me to make last minute changes the day that particular
outfit is scheduled.
The lipstick is even brighter in
real life than in the
outfit photos.
My Instagram isn't a constant stream of
outfit photos and selfies (okay, admittedly I've been posting more of them recently), my photography doesn't look as if it's been torn right out of a glossy magazine (this post excluded, thanks to the wonderful Olyesa) and I still have no
real interest in properly entering the world of YouTube.
Real talk: The first
outfit photos of the new year are always pretty brutal to get through.
That's why I prefer to take
outfit photos at the beginning of the work day, if possible — but I really don't mind that much, as this just goes to show that I really do wear my
outfits in
real life!
