The goal
of this project was to craft a collective narrative from interviews
of 30 global leaders who represent government, civil
society and business interests — all making the case that deforestation must stop immediately if we are to protect our planet from the grim
realities of climate
change.
In light
of these paradoxes and contradictions, and perhaps due to them, is well known that migrations has not only
changed its population, but it also has became the new
reality regarding the economy (remittances), the culture (migration), the environment (deterioration and depredation), and the
society (poverty).
Violence against women is not just what is happening to individual women, we see that the educational, economic, social and cultural aspects
of the current systems, at local, national and global levels must intentionally work with a transformational agenda to be able to achieve this urgently needed
change, that not only robs women and
societies of peace, but does not allow the qualitative development for the new paradigm to become a
reality in our life time.
So while our
society's expectations
of what a shelter «should» do — help pets leave out the front door with a loving family instead
of out the back door in a body bag — has
changed over time, perhaps our expectations exceed our current
reality.

society groups will continue to consider the early entry into force
of the Paris Agreement as the pinnacle

of developing countries who bear a disproportionate burden

It is important for human
society to now focus on removal
of these barriers, for which the first step would be to create awareness on the scientific
realities of climate
change.
Speaking at the Pre-COP 20 Consultative Consultative workshop in Lima, Samuel Ogallah
of PACJA stated that group's trength is embedded in the preparedness
of the African civil
society at all levels to ensure that the New Climate
Change Agreement to be concluded in Paris in 2015 is responsive to African aspirations and
