Ok, so it's
winter here, well spring
really, but it's New England so it
feels like winter.

The snow started
really late this season here in Colorado, so ultimately it's going to

really has only just begun, and wearing a fabulous new coat (not a boring black puffer) somehow makes the cold months more bearable.

I know, I know, we haven't

winter weeks but after the endless
winter last year and the october snow storm that left me powerless for days I
feel like I could never be in cold weather again and be okay!
I will deffs keep that in mind when I attend next and do a more in depth post about it but what I love about LFW is firstly of course seeing the new collections, I find that they are
really inspiring and although they are showing for fall
winter, I
feel like there are so many cool and clever styling tricks that can be applied now!
The weather is
really strange now, as one day it
feels warm and next day it's
like a real
winter cold outside.
We have
winter here for what
feels like half the year, so I
really do need more coats than I have (2)!!
But it

feel like winter, maybe I can fool the weather with my wreath!

I
feel like this
winter has been
really crappy..
Once we had the sofa in place on our existing
winter rug, I brought in the art from my entry (which I actually
really LOVE in the entry so it's unlikely I would want it to stay here) just to at least get a vision for what it would
feel like and to create more of a focal point over the sofa.
Soooo, since it
felt like we
really had to earn summer this year by slogging through about 30 feet of snow this
winter, and a chilly, wet spring, I
really wanted to play up the quintessential symbols of summer - water, sand, and sunshine.
But whatever it is, I just
feel like at the end of every day lately I need to curl up in a
really comfy spot with my furry blankie and take deep breath to relax (which I'll be honest in the
winter time it
feels like I should be heading to bed about 4:45 pm, ha).
