getting a lot of points / cash from these signup bonuses and it was worth the hassel, especially because as a
business owner, I signed up for the personal
card and the
business card at the same time on all the
really great bonus
cards like chase sapphire preferred, so I doubled my bonuses!

really want to
get the most out of using your American Express
business cards, don't forget shopping portals.
But that doesn't
really matter since you can still
get the sign - up bonus and perks that come with the
business card.
What you
really get with the
business card is access to the OPEN network, including other discounts.
While that betrays Spirit's stingy, budget - obsessed
business model, I suspect it's
really designed to be an incentive for Free Spirit members to
get the credit
card.
Just
getting one of those
cards can earn you enough miles to cover your trip in economy and
getting the bonuses from a couple of them can
get you
really close to having a
business class ticket waiting to take you to Israel.
There
really aren't any cons to
getting the
business card, so long as you have no issues meeting the minimum spend.
This partnership is a big deal because to date it's
really only the Chase Sapphire Preferred
Card which
gets you points transferrable to Korean's miles (along with the Sapphire Preferred's
business counterpart, Ink Plus).

If you frequent a specific hotel chain often OR an do a lot of flying,
getting a brand specific hotel / travel point
card can
really give you a bonus amount of miles / points provided you frequent the same chain /
business many times.
I let the Amex
card close and now my only Amex is a Open Platinum
Business, as I don't
really care for the other Amex
cards or the high minimum spends to
get bonuses.
That's why, if you're going to
get too cute when it comes to your credit
card rewards and taxes, especially if you have a
business, you
really should consult a professional to help guide you through the thicket of thorny issues.
You can read a company's mission statement, review their product catalogue, and
get your first stack of
business cards, but to
really understand a company's mission, sometimes you need to
get your hands dirty.
