maybe by monday a new MH will be announced, I hope so... but so far Capcom has disappointed... even though they delivered two
really good fighting games for the Vita.
Overall, it's not
really the best fighting game out there, nor is it even the best fighting game on the PlayStation, a system that had many.

As far as
games go, I'm
really into the fantasy / sci - fi action stuff (Skyrim, Warframe, etc.) as
well as various
fighting games.
What I
really liked about this
game is that even if it is a First Person Shooter (
Well for me it's a First person Adventure) it is still faithful to the Metroid formula, I liked the puzzles, the enjoyable boss battles and the easy
fights.
Combine that with an average
fighting game and...
well, to be honest, I'm not sure if it's enough to make Skullgirls worth a recommendation, unless you're either
really into
fighting games, or
really into seeing an aesthetic that doesn't get nearly enough representation in
games.
I
really like this
game, the story line is funny, online play is
good, and even though I'm terrible at
fighting games like this, I can even win sometimes.
Difficulty Curve — If you're just looking to get into
fighting games, this is a
really good start however it's recommended you should train or play Arcade a couple of times.
Pausing the
game and ordering your teammates to defeat commanders or defend / attack forts works
really well, and the characters actually do a
good job of
fighting by themselves — even if they don't, you can always order them to move there, and then just take control of them when they arrive.
The
fighting in the
game really is much too simple and the controls during these sections of the
game feel extremely sluggish and just don't handle that entire
well.
Also, to think about it - Lightning would be nice choice (but only for SCV, not potentially upcoming SCVI), because of irony - FF13LR is nice
game, but terrible FF, while SCV is nice SC (
best fighting system so far and awesome online), but terrible
game (5 years ago, when I wasn't
really into
fighting games - didn't care about balance, haven't played online - I wouldn't buy such a barebones of a
game.
The
game really seems as though it has everything on the right track to be one of the
best fighting series of all time.
ArcSys, as their dedicated fans call them,
really know how to make a damn
good fighting game.
If you have played Dead or Alive 5 before than I'm not
really sure this
game deserves another purchase unless you're a hardcore fan but if you have missed the last
game and you're after a very
good fighting game than look no further.
I for one
really like this move, there was never anything
really wrong with the Street Fighter II
fighting style, and
games to this day have tried mimicking, so keeping with what works seems like a
good choice when it comes to Street Fighter IV.
It helped that I
really disliked the first NSMB DS
game, and NSMBWii was like a breath of fresh air that made me feel
good about the series again, but between what I heard of NSMB2 and what I played of SM3DL, NSMBU was already
fighting a losing battle with me.

fighting isn't some swinging gimmick then color me a little excited for this
game cause I think tilt steering on the Wii Remote can actually work
really well with Sonic.

Also Art of
Fighting 3 is orders of magnitude
better than its prequels and is one of SNK's
best looking
games, and a
really solid fighter in its own right.
There's an argument that a modern -
fighting game shouldn't
really have to focus on anything outside of multiplayer but if you're going to include it at all, why not do it
well and make it part of the core release?

fighting game - it's something that other companies already do

I spent a
good amount of my time playing vs.
fighting games in the arcades, so I didn't need a 6 - button controller for Street Fighter II (nor a copy of the
game itself
really), but Eternal Champions was something new, and ultimately even more of the same.

game still made the list because 1) Metroid finally came back and 2) the way Samus controls in SR feels
really good.
There are probably a few types of
games that can be enjoyed by four players simultaneously, but for us at SuperBot, a brawler was the obvious choice for one

Pacific Rim is an interesting
fighting game that has potential to be
really just as
good as the movie, but due to some repeated mistakes and poor choices in controls the
game falls a bit short and ends up being lost in the shuffle of this new strategy on releasing movie
games into a digital distribution.
The adventure is split between two gaming genres: traditional 2D platforming and
fighting games, though it sadly doesn't
really pull either of them off particularly
well.
It looks
really good graphics wise, and the gameplay is like those two

fighting games as mystifying as Kayne West would find a book about modesty, I am not
really best qualified to see how this stacks up against the competition from a
game mechanics perspective (Our illustrious overlord Gaz is the
fighting games aficionado).
There were some characters last year (like Brock Lesnar) that I thought looked nothing like their real life counterpart but this time around I never
really saw that as an issue and with the largest roster of any wrestling
game it still manages to make everyone look how they should and still just looks even
better when they are
fighting in the ring.
The AI in the
game is
good in terms of boss
fights, but when it's just the enemy minions you
fight it
really comes down to strength in numbers.
But a sad fact of
fighting games is that there's no viable way to go online unless you're
really good.
