would like to know what you think about the ethical side of
being vegan / vegetarian because personally I think you SHOULD restrict yourself from eating animal products, considering the pain and suffering an animal
has had to go through unecessarily for you to eat them.

A long - time

vegan cheeses, and in fact just tried another one that I ordered by mail and
is really the best so far — but it
's just not very readily available in the U.S..

is a nice parmesan that tastes the same, maybe I should try that)... I just
would like to know if it
's possible to do with brown rice... sounds like I need to change everything but I

Anyway, I
really do think one of the reasons I put off making cashew based paleo and
vegan cheesecake for so long,
is the same reason I haven't yet attempted to make a paleo bagel — fear that it just wouldn't
be the same.
I don't
really like the chocolate spreads at all, Nutella
has never called my name and the
vegan alternatives I
've tried
are none of them good enough to make me buy a second jar.
I never
really thought about just buying them at the store and
having them at home, but that
's about to change... now I
've learned dipping them in chocolate magically transforms sugar wafers into Homemade
Vegan Kit Kat Bars.
For ages now tofu
has gained gga
really bad reputation for
being that bland, boring food that
vegans live on.
He also
had the nerve to tell me it tastes better than my
vegan dulce de leche recipe (which
is similar, minus the baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla bean)(ok,
really not alllllll that similar) because you can't taste the coconut at all.
I know that following
vegan blogs
had helped me learn that there
is another way to bake and though I
am still learning it, I find it
really exciting!
Having lived in the San Francisco Bay area when Chipotle debuted its
vegan sofritas option in February 2013, I
was excited to know that I could
have a
really good burrito on the road instead of a protein bar.
