Not only does Al's
armored body look every inch
like the animated Al, but the effects are good enough that there were several times that I forgot we were dealing with CGI and
really looked at that suit of
armor as the wounded and disembodied Al..
Most people is fine with Multiplay DLC or Weapon /
Armor or optional DLC, BUT I'm not
really liking that kind of «we make the game longer by making you do the same stuff over and over again» DLC.
Glo is the type of game that probably would have done
really well on flash game sites,
like Newgrounds and
Armored Games, a good 5 — 10 years ago.
What I
really liked is that because of the
armor abilities you can approach each mission however you want.
If members could get specialized Halo
armor or weapons worth the extra $ 40, they might be more willing to sign up, and it doesn't
really cost Microsoft anything to offer things
like that.»
I have been playing the BETA on the 360 since last week Friday, and i must admit i am
really enjoying it, i was skeptical in the beginning because i am no MMO player just cant get into the games, hell i could not even get into borderlands 1 & 2 (yes i know its not an MMO) because of how repetitive the games are, but Destiny has
really peaked my interest and from what i have played its set to be a
really deep and immersive and when you get to play with others it just gets that much better, what i
liked was that if you planned it right you can get quite an interesting character build as long as you set your
armor and weapons right (got a bit of a Diablo feel), and i think its going to get
really good once the game is released.
Although, I will say that some of the reflections may be a bit overdone as sometimes in darker areas it looks almost
like your
armor is glowing, but it's a rather minor blemish that
really doesn't take anything away from the pure beauty of the game.
In my mind this opens up a
really thrilling possibility (and it's important to note that this is pure, wild speculation on my part): It's entirely possible that in this game combat isn't governed by artificial stats
like armor or hit points.
I should be fair though, games
like Dead Rising 4 only
really gave you power
armor instead of the entire suit, but it's still fun and whimsical all the same.
I love how the power
armor works this time around, and I
really like the perks / level up system.
Treating more
like real robots that could only
really handle one or two enemies at a time, all of which would be equally
armored and equipped.
When I watched a trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, shades
like the purple in a statue and the mint green in Thor's
armor really stood out.
