really working hard to get in 6 days a week of running,
biking and swimming so that I will be able to actually finish the
race in one piece!!

Motorcycle
racing is incredibly physical, too, since riders don't
really sit down and are constantly using their arms and legs to manipulate their body weight across the
bike.
You know, a proper warm - up consists of several surges that take you up in the
race pace that cause your body to begin producing its lactic acid buffering enzymes and cause you to begin you know, increase in the elasticity of the lungs and
really opening up the blood vessels and a lot of people do like a light jog, light
bike ride, light swim, whatever and you actually have to throw in some real hard
race pace efforts — 20, 30, sometimes up to 60 seconds long — to
really get your body into that state that it needs to be in to be ready to push hard when the gun goes off so to speak.
This is not a problem in the exploration mode, but it
really takes a lot of fun away from the game if the whole
race has unbalanced
bike.
However, should you find yourself landing on top of another rider, which is something that can happen a lot at the start of a
race as you head for the holeshot, there's every chance you will find yourself either knocked off your
bike when
really you probably shouldn't have been, or you'll be crowd surfing the other racers until they move out the way.
Once you have learned your ways around the track it's time to start the career mode, which doesn't
really have much to it besides upgrading
bike parts and winning a series of a lot of
races!
However, it took me months to realize that it was such a huge number, because there were only ever a few cars driving along the road; the road was a very narrow, two - lane road; and the only sounds that
really stood out to me were the clicks of old
bikes with warped fenders and the dings from the
bike bells of «faster» bicyclists passing slower ones (of course, none of the Dutch bicyclists
race down the road, but some casually
bike a little faster than others).
