As I walked past the Tata stand this month at the Geneva auto show, I saw a couple of
really sharp cars and thought they could easily become Vauxhalls under JLR.
Despite the lack of an F Sport package for a year, the GS 450h remained a really,
really sharp car that crossed out just about every item on our checklist.

really making a standout statement.
Really it's not fair to expect this hard - core hot hatch to soak in bumps or potholes like a typical premium
car — it's a stiffly sprung
car, after all, and the ride is quite harsh over rutted roads and
sharp - edged potholes to the point that its borderline uncomfortable.
Punching the accelerator brings everything into
sharp focus — the
car really gets up on its haunches and hauls for what seems like a mighty big machine.
It is still frustrating that Honda won't allow you to configure the
car how you'd like it, because what you
really want is the
sharper throttle map combined with the softest damper setting.

The
car is fun to drive and looks
