Gil you have asked some very good questions why does bad things happen in the world i personally do nt know God did nt explain
to Job either why he had
to suffer. What i do know is that God desires that none of us should perish but that all would have eternal life in him through Jesus Christ. This world will one day pass away and the real world will be reborn so our focus as christians is on whats
to come and being a witness in the here and now. Both good and bad happens
to either the righteous or the sinner so what are we
to make of that. What we do know is that God will set all things right at the appointed time the wicked will be judged and the righteous will be rewarded for there faith isnt that enough reason for us
to believe.Free will is only a reality if we can choose between good and bad but our
hearts are deceitfully wicked we naturally are inclined toward sin that is another reason whyt we need
to be saved from ourselves so what are we
to do.For me Christ died and rose again that is a fact witnessed by over 500 people that were alive at the time and was recorded by historians how many other religious leaders do you know that did that or did the miracles that Jesus did.As far as the bible is concerned much of the archelogical evidence has proven
to be correct and many of prophetic words
spoken many hundreds of years ago have come
to pass including both the birth and the death of Jesus.Interested in what philosophy you are believing in if other than a faith in Jesus Christ so how does that philosophy give you the assurance that you are saved. Its
really simple with christianity we just have
to believe in Jesus Christ.brentnz

Bob... I'm not
really sure if yr response
to the Bonhoeffer quote is becuz you think it unreasonable or simply,» too doctrinaire», or as you say» religious
speak» But, I take the statement
to mean that the only hope for true community is the death of the «human wish for «community and therein lies the same paradox that is at the
heart of the Christian message..
If the last generation, beholding the first, and seeing it almost sink under its burden of awe and fear, were
to find it in its
heart to say: «It is impossible
to understand why they should take it so hard, for the whole is not heavier than that one could easily take it up and run with it,» there will doubtless be someone
to answer: «You are welcome
to run with it if you like; but you ought at all events make sure that what you run with
really is that of which we are
speaking; for there is no disputing the fact that it is easy enough
to run with the wind.»
Although I've found it very cathartic
to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need
to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going
to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want
to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going
to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want
to have a front row seat
to see something special and
to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested...
to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed
to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of
really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill
to swallow... they would have
to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who
really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change
to occur at this club we need
to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time
to focus on the head instead of the
heart for now
As long as you support your club through the hard times and good times then you are a fan regardless of what you say it is about the
heart not the words but the
heart. Also not only stats are facts but they might also be quiet misleading. For Afobe i will not comment anymore but i do know for sure that he will reach my expectation and maybe you do not see it that way and you might feel i am not
speaking with facts or whatever but life itself has no formula and is not
really bound by facts because we make the facts.Afobe can become a world class player and i do not care if any manager in the EPL does not see it that way but i see it that way.For talent is given
to the one who can harness it and once things go right then i expect him
to be there. No one can take that away from him.

DiChristina: I was just going
to say, that's one thing also what occurred
to me is that
to me is a lesson in microcosm — because it's just a paragraph what Steve just read
to everybody — that shows why it's so important in science
to remove all your confounds, you know, remove all the variables so that you can find
really what is at the
heart of thing, and
to me that that's the lesson that science has much more thoroughly adopted probably at this point and can
speak with, you know, much greater authority; when something actually is a finding you need
to be able
to remove all the potential things that could be interfering with the conclusion that you're trying
to make.
