This was my first run since, I did just over 3 miles, there were one or two twinges but nothing major, although the opposite
calf was
really tight - so I foam rolled when I got back.
As we get older the # 1 thing we all want at the end of the day is to be healthy and to be able to do the things we enjoy, and if our
calves are so
tight and we have no awareness of our feet and core, how are we
really better off than when we started?
If your
calves are
really tight, massage them using a foam roller or other massage tool.
What happens is that in fact I'm feeling a bit worse and every time I do a 20 minutes easy run my
calves get
really tight and sore.
I went up a size but they were still
really tight on my
calves.
As someone with
really tight IT bands and even
tighter calves I quickly fell in love.
