Toasted pumpkin
seeds are delicious and
really healthy but for me they hardest thing is that they are
really expensive if you buy them in the store.
I
really like to
toast the
seeds on a baking sheet in the oven to add some rustic and earthy flavour.
I would just note that unless you are feeding it to a toddler, don't miss out the sour cream and cayenne pepper
toasted seeds, as they
really do add an extra depth, a slight heat and crunch through ever mouthful.
Enjoy these traditional stewed fruits with the coconut cream for a delightful and cosy dessert, or make extra of the stewed fruits to eat as a snack with yoghurt and

seeds, or if you
really can't give it up just yet, spooned over your morning granola.

toasting spices before you add them to the dish, especially one of my favorites is cumin and you can even do it with the ground cumin as well as the whole
seed.
The best hummus I ever tasted had a bit of ground coriander
seed and / or allspice (in those days I didn't know either well enough to be sure), a bit of cumin (standard), some cilantro (better than parsley, in my book) and most importantly a hit of
toasted ground caraway
seed —
really,
really good.

seeds and buckwheat to
really bring out the flavours of those delicious elements.
As much as I love my morning meal of Greek yogurt with honey, chia,

really like yogurt for its depuffing and moisturizing traits.
Another breakfast favorite if I'm
really hungry or don't have a workout right away is a piece of
seed and nut
toast with hummus, vegan kale pesto, sautéed greens, fermented carrots, and a poached egg.
You can also top with cilantro and

seeds if you're feeling fancy, and I mean

I
really wanted to try this and didn't have almond butter on hand so I made it with flax
seed (no hemp either) and a few sliced almonds on top with the
toasted coconut.
