Also, as far as outerwear, I had a
winter baby and was worried I would need a
warm coat but we ended up having a milder than usual
winter and I was running so hot from being so pregnant that I didn't need any
coat to button, or
really any
coat, period.
In the
winter, I tend to invest in a handful of classic, lifelong
coats, knitwear and boots and wear them to death, whereas once it
warms up I like to be a bit more frivolous, looking to the high street and vintage stores for carefree, throw - on pieces that can get covered in sand, mud and grass stains and I don't
really care.
You can't
really call it a
winter coat though, because it's
really not keeping you
warm... (But
warm winter coats are not my specialty anyways, haha).

coat when I
really needed to wear a
warm winter coat that zipped.
The inside of the
coat is fully lined and the rest of the
coat is a thick and
warm wool that
really keeps the brisk
winter air OUT.
When you
really want to lay it on thick, this ultra soothing balm will shield your lips from the cold like a
warm winter coat.
There is some openness to the stitching so this isn't
really a
winter coat but I think this would keep me
warm to temperatures down into the 40s.
