Melt the chocolate and
butter over a bain - marie, which is
really just a fancy way of saying dump the globs of black and
yellow into a heatproof bowl and melt over simmering (not boiling) water.
Is the
butter photo oversaturated... or is that
butter REALLY that
yellow?
I'm
really struggling to get an airy / light texture without the
butter and eggs in a normal
yellow cake.
The subway tile I used in the kitchen is a
really beautiful
butter yellow (Pratt & Larson) and it is a lovely complement to the antique white paint.
I'm thinking
butter yellow for the cabinets, but I
really want to try a painted backsplash.
