The 2nd amendment, as interpreted by SCOTUS, grants to individuals the right to bear arms (
guns), but the right of the government to place
reasonable restrictions on the types of weapons, how they operate and limitations on
restrictions of the type of ammunition, or the extent of the firepower of those weapons, have been clearly approved.
