We try not to reprimand the older
dog when she does this, but sometimes i feel she snaps for no
reason, she has never bitten the pup or anything, and she wouldn't let the pup sniff her at first at least now she still gets tense but she will allow it (unless the pup does sudden movements then she will
growl).
