If this does not help, you may want to run System File Checker, repair System Image or
rebuild Search Index and see if that helps you.
If you are encountering problems with searching — unexpectedly slow searches, not finding things that should be indexed, or searches actually crashing — your best bet is to completely
rebuild the search index.
To
rebuild search index, Open Control Panel > System & Maintenance > Indexing Options.
Here, you can modify a few more options and manually
rebuild the search index.

To
rebuild the Windows
search index head to Control Panel >
Indexing options.
On reboot, you may observe a high CPU indicating that the Windows
Search service has already started and is in process of
rebuilding the
Index.
