Made the bread tonight as per the
recipe book «ml» and «g»
measurements, and subbed in walnuts for almonds because that's what I
had — Just testing a slice covered in my home made walnut and kidney bean spread... Yummy Think I need a touch more salt but I'm always a bit worried about over seasoning... I used mixed herbs but think I
would love to add some garlic (powder maybe) next time, and use selected herbs rather than the commercial mix.
I
have some almond and hazelnut flour I really need to use up and this
recipe sounds just perfect, but I am not sure for the
measurements.

A cup is a standard
measurement (unlike «mug») and
would make your
recipes much more reliable.

I used the
recipe in your book which calls for 80g of cacao... All I
had therefore was a lumpy chocolate mess and no coating at all... If you didn't already correct this mistake maybe change the
measurements for reprints of your book.

When there is a significant weight discrepancy,
would you recommend favoring the volume or the weight
measurements in your original

I can see from all the other responses that it's not the
recipe that's wrong — just perhaps my
measurements - I'm English, living in France and although I
have a «cups» measure for the flour etc the concept of «table spoons» of butter is beyond me!
I find the
recipes would be easier to recreate if you
would give the

recipes but find they can be a little hit and miss for those of us who do not deal in «cups», could you give the quantities in grams or oz as conversions for cups vary from country to country whereas the other
measurements above are international and constant.
The
recipes are expressed in percentages, and you can not make these blends accurately with volume (cups, tablespoons, teaspoons)
measurements, as measuring by volume is incredibly imprecise and each flour
has a different weight / volume.
