Most of the zucchini recipes I have see online have lots of sugar in them, so I was on a quest to develop
a recipe with less sugar and more healthy.
I keep trying to find
a recipe with less sugar than the Mint Chocolate Luna Protein Bars (plus I think they are discontinued now).
Not exact matches
For the fililng I used as a basis, this
recipe from the superb Brave tart blog but adapted it
with a bit
less sugar and some cream to soften the ganache.
Yum, some good new cornbread
recipes... anxious to try the sweet potato one, of course
with less sugar, and
less butter got ta watch the fat intake....
I like that you add
less sugar in your
recipe - so I tried it out today, for no reason other than to spoil ourselves
with cake.

less white
sugar since the orange juice adds natural sweetness than

recipe (usually calls for 2 cups of

I like these cookies just as much as I like good old chocolate chip cookies (Tollhouse cookies) but compare this
recipe to a standard chocolate chip
recipe and it has half the fat, 1/2 cup
less sugar, plus there is just as much oatmeal as there is white flour and I upped the health factor

I usually am satisfied
with less sugar in
recipes, but this cake was very unsweetened.

I tend to minimize the amount of
sugar and am used to be satisfied
with the
less sweet taste, but please feel free to increase the
sugar quantity in all of my
recipes.

You can simply make your own healthy granola topping (see this crumble
recipe here) or if you're simply lazy like me then pick up a healthy granola brand (
with less sugar and fat) from your local supermarket.
Often when
recipes claim to be
sugar free it really means that they've replaced cane
sugar or another refined
sugar with dried fruit or brown rice syrup or some other form of
less processed
sugar.
