Today the New York Times (NYT) announced it has partnered
with startup Chef'd to sell meal kits to

recipes from its NYT Cooking section.
My business today has evolved into not only the personal chef aspect, but I am getting into food blogging, providing
readers with my
recipes I've developed for my clients and «healthified»
recipes.
We do lots of easy, inexpensive
recipes with veggie curries, dahls etc but some
readers also want more indulgent desserts like this but you can absolutely skip

To be honest, I'm in awe of my son who has chosen to take my
recipes and give them a new sort of life and share them more widely
with eaters, far and wide, as well as
readers of my cookbooks.
At the time this
recipe was written, I had tons of
readers writing in asking me what to do
with their bags of cooked frozen shrimp, and that is how this
recipe ended up on here.
I personally don't need to use it, but so many of my
readers have issues
with gluten that I wanted to try and create some
recipes that they could enjoy without trying to convert anything.
It can be a tough line to balance when trying to please all of my
readers with various
recipes, as we all have different diets and palettes for different kinds of foods and spices.
And you want to be careful
with adding juice to this
recipe because you don't want to curdle the cream, one
reader mentioned adding lemon extract instead of vanilla, I think I would go
with that, or add the zest to 1 1/2 lemons instead of one.
I'm beginning to catch up
with my
reader and thought I'd give you a
recipe to keep you going before I fill you in on my time away.
