A sling is very versatile: I can change the baby's
position while he's in it to hold him more upright or more
reclined, and as he grows I can hold him more on my hip
instead of in front.
Like many of its competitors, this seat is able to
recline, but
instead of the standard 6
positions, this seat had 9.
What I like the most about Mixx is that the seat
reclines creating a flat bed - like environment for your child
instead of the one molded piece that leaves your child always in the sitting
position.
Common culprits are getting in and out of bed through a sit up movement (try rolling onto your side and using your arms
instead), and getting off the couch from a
reclined position whilst holding your newborn (again try to allow your arms to help you with this movement).
Is he dragging himself up from a
reclining position with his shoulders
instead of springing up with his hindquarters?
The seats are a shell design that slouches in
position instead of
reclining back into the row behind which is nice.
