I would still
recommend Squarespace and Shopify over any artist - specific website solution, however.

Whether you are getting started or looking to make an upgrade, we highly
recommend Squarespace for everything from a simple landing page to full - featured blog (like ours) to selling your books yourself online.

(I get nothing by
recommending WordPress, and also personally work in may other platforms — Drupal,
Squarespace and others.)
As of right now, there are two hosted solutions I
recommend: Shopify and
Squarespace.
I will always
recommend «owning» your own website and not relying on shared, done - for - you hosting / building such as Wix,
Squarespace, Weebly.
One major reason we
recommend a DIY law firm website built on Wordpress or
Squarespace is that making updates is easy and you can do so frequently.
I'm now
recommending either go and get a WordPress.com blog just to see how WordPress works or go to
Squarespace, $ 20 a month, may be it's a little more than that at this point, but you can get a really nicely designed customizable blog for not a whole lot of money to do that, and I think it's fairly simple to do, to just test one out and see if you like it.
