In a keynote address to the conference, Mr Jarraud reiterated the urgency of action to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions from human activities, and sounded a warning note about using geoengineering to try to limit climate change.
The only way to do that is to
reduce the output of so - called
greenhouse gasses, caused primarily by carbon dioxide
emissions from industry, automobiles and other
human activities, Horton said.
