Education secretary Kirsty Williams has announced new rules to
reduce the number of pupils being entered too early for exams in Wales.
In order to support pupils travelling to the college and
reduce the number of pupils travelling by car the college is offering the following support for pupils that live more than one mile walking distance away from the college:

With the plan
of reducing fees and increasing investment, the college has seen

The figures do not suggest that schools are
reducing their staffing
numbers — with the teacher to
pupil ratio remaining at an all - time low

Sean Harford, Ofsted's director
of education, has told inspectors to check if the
number of pupils on roll
reduces towards the school's final secondary year — indicating they may be being moved elsewhere.
She said funding levels needed to keep up with changing needs - and gentrification in London meant that the
