Similar to previous reports [10,14,26],
reducing TOR activity by overexpressing both TSC1 and TSC2 in the fat body decreased body size in both females and males (Fig 1A and 1B).
In addition, our rescue experiment revealed that
reducing TOR activity in the fat body while simultaneously overexpressing either GBP1 or GBP2 in this tissue partially rescued body size, growth rate, and the duration of the L3.
Therefore, these results suggest that
