As usual, it uses a lot of the sounds and audio from the other Mario games but a lot of them are revamped and bring
a refreshing feel to the game, it is familiar yet new at the same time, there are a lot of tunes that you may or may not have realized like during some of the minigames, the backgound music is that of Super Mario Bros 2.

It's a shame that Infamy devolves into such juvenile practices as there are some nice flourishes on display — for instance, the hand - drawn aesthetic lends a quaint, homely
feel to adventuring that
feels refreshing in light of the grandeur that western RPGs typically strive for — yet it's impossible
to root for a
game that makes such a critical misstep.
It may not be perfect yet, but the system
feels refreshing and new, and I'm excited
to see what
games will come out for it as designers get
to explore the GamePad and what it can do.

to higher
refresh rates.

While Troy's combat won't
feel particularly foreign
to fans of the Warriors franchise, its setting and narrative offer a
refreshing departure from the Three Kingdoms and Feudal Japan focus of previous

Most of these modes and
game - types will

to those that played the first
game (or just any competitive shooter in general), but even with their basic objectives, the additional modes offer a

From the launch lineup that we've had chance

game that makes use of the full spectrum of colors when so many other contemporary shooters

games these days are increasingly bent on holding your hand
to make sure you get
to where you need
to be, having a world
to explore with no guidance can

refreshing, and when you do work out where
to go or what
to do, it's always rewarding.
I am not suggesting that the police versus terrorists thing hasn't been done before (Police Quest, Urban Chaos, L.A. Noire
to name but a few) but definitely
feels like a
refreshing & promising
game.
But so far this
feels like a remaster that is intended
to do just enough
to refresh the
game for the latest console generation, rather than one aimed at courting a new audience on PC.
It has little elements of variety through the different
game modes, which although not a lot, will still
feel refreshing after killing hordes of enemies, making it a
game to keep a very keen eye on, fans of the genre or not.
The lack of any sort of hand holding and the open world nature of the
game can make The Witness
feel confusing
to less experienced players, but those who like
to understand things without any help will find this approach quite
refreshing.
It doesn't help that those last challenges leave a bad taste in your mouth just as you're finishing up, but thankfully the
game's final encounter is a
refreshing return
to form (but still difficult enough
to feel like an accomplishment).
The simplistic nature of the
game feels refreshing at a time where almost everything coming from the indie scene tries
to reinvent the wheel or push some social agenda.
Thanks
to the
game's gleeful disregard of genre conventions, Battlerite
feels like something that few free
to play
games manage —
refreshing and dynamic.
Ascension is not just a worthy prequel
to Sony's successful franchise set in the mythological world of Olympus, but a breath of fresh air for those who didn't have faith in the possibility of making the
game feel new and
refreshed.
By taking out the mini
games, petting, and decorating of Pokémon Amie, Pokémon
Refresh is more streamlined and
feels less pointless, making us much more inclined
to use it.
It
felt true
to the previous
games yet offered those small details that made it
feel refreshed.
