This paper will argue that the success of Child - to - Child methodology with children living in
refugee and displaced persons» camps and other difficult circumstances underscores the importance of
rights - based participation of children in issues that affect them, and will demonstrate that meaningful participation helps build resilience in children, especially those who have experienced traumatic
events.
