not.

to develop
faith in that God instead.Your school of thought could apply well if the notion of God was a God who either wants

not want
to be made known but would rather have humanity develop

satans aim was
to stop the fulfillment of the seed that would crush satan underfoot. This hybrid between the angels and man created giants abominations in Gods eyes. They also were a threat
to Gods people as can be seen by the giants in the land of caanan after the flood. If we agree on that then there is no way that Eve would have had intercourse with satan [false doctrine of the seed of satan -RCB- because the blood lines were still untainted by angelic beings or satan at the time of Noah maybe that is also why the genealogy of Christ is well presented with no surprises apart from Hagar and Ruth these two were gentiles that shows Gods mercy grace was always there
to all nations he accepts people by
faith not by race.Prior
to the flood the mixing of the angels and man must have been widespread after the flood these beings were present but in limited numbers and God told his people
to destroy them as they were abominations but they were a threat
to Gods people. It would be interesting
to hear what the rabbis had
to say on this matter as i would think the stories would have been past down from generation
to the next.Especially
regarding the flood.God promised he would never flood the earth again but a time is coming when the earth will be judged
not by flood but by fire Jesus is our ark and we are safe in him.brentnz
According
to catholic teaching, the existence of hell, of a state of eternal damnation, is an article of
faith (as indeed, given free will and evil, it is a logical necessity); but that some human beings are or will be in fact damned is
not an article of
faith (though again logically it must be
regarded as a possibility): hence Pere Teilhard's prayer further on in this passage.

Tim i found it liberating
to just do what the Lord wants you
to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats
not my walk thats theres. My focus is
to do what the Lord wants me
to do.There have been times i have said no
to the pastor he does
nt understand why i choose
not to lead the worship.i query him as well
regarding the idea that its
not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have
to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did
nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better
not being involved in leading. But i am happy
to be an encouragement
to others in the worship team i havent wanted
to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem
to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do
nt to worry about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used
to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is
not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do
to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked
to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do
nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked
to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in
Faith the Lord really blessed the morning
to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has
to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory
to him.May the Lord continue
to show you what he wants you
to do even though others may
not understand your reasons i just want you
to know that you do
nt have
to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do
nt feel pressured by others expectations
to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz

This can also be expressed in another way: the cross is
to be
regarded as the eschatological event; that is

faith — is concerned, it is an ever - present reality.
Although we are
not prepared

regarded in terms of the idea, Hegel is right; but he is
not right in talking about
faith or in allowing Abraham
to be
regarded as the father of it; for by the latter he has pronounced judgment both upon Abraham and upon
faith.
lol, yes clay i am an atheist... i created the sun whorshipping thing
to have argument against religion from a religious stand point... however, the sun makes more sense then something you can't see or feel — the sun also gives free energy... your god once did that for the jews, my gives it
to the human race as well as everything else on the planet, fuk even the planet is nothing without the sun... but back
to your point — yes it is very hypocritical of me, AND thats the point, every religious person i have ever met has and on a constant basis broken the tenets of there
faith without
regard for there souls — it seems
to only be the person's conscience that dictates what is right and wrong... the belief in a god figure is just because its tradition
to and plus every else believes so its always
to be part of the group instead of an outsider — that is sadly human nature
to be part of the group.

I also was powerless in
regard to my old nature it had power over me.i came
to the point that i needed
to do something because i felt like spiritually i was dying and again it was by
faith in Jesus Christ that changed me and that i admitted that i could
nt live the christian life in my strength.Since then i have continued
to walk by
faith daily and i know what it means
to be saved in this life we have power over our old nature through Christ that strengths us Personally i think this is a major reason why many christians are
not growing and maturing as they should. Many people are struggling in there
faith that is
not how it is meant
to be the word says we are overcomers more than conquerers through Christ that strengthens us.If you are struggling are you walking by
faith or just doing good christians works that have no power
to change your life Just admit that you cant do it in your strength let him empower you by his holy spirit
to do what you cant.It has been a hard road
to get here but i am never going back
to living by works when you find the truth there is no comparison brentnz
Phrygian
to me i sense that you are struggling with issues in your mind that you cant reconcile and these issues are affecting what you believe in your heart and therefore your
faith in God.I had something similar happen
to me recently
regarding the story of the demon possessed man at one point the demons begged Jesus
to cast them into the pigs does that mean that Jesus was implicated with the work of satan. It cast my mind into doubt and then i began
to question who God is.I prayed and sort the holy spirit for an answer the answer i got was that Gods character never changes he is always holy righteous and sovereign why else would satan ask for his permission. So the answer was that he allowed satans purpose
to prevail so that we can see that satans intention is always
to destroy it may well have been that the pigs were his anyway. As they were for the gentile nations who offered the pigs
to their demon Gods.Just as satan can
not change who he is the destroyer the thief the liar God can
not change who he is when we realise that despite what we see going on in the world God is still the same yesterday today and forever. The time is coming when those that have hurt others will be judged for there wickedness as we serve a holy and just God.Just as it was in the times of Noah so it is with this this generation that as the wickedness reachs its zenith then the Lord will return
to judge the nations. He is coming again and we need
to be ready it is
not a time
to be caught sleeping.brentnz
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who said
to Your Apostles: «Peace I leave with you, My peace I give

While it is impossible
to prove a negative, the complete lack of empirical evidence

faith) rather than knowledge combined with a rigid and irrational unwillingness
to apply basic logic with

not exist.
And there is no reason for us

It met in the Vatican in 1869 - 1870, and its most notable decrees, later promulgated by the Pope, declared «that the Roman Pontiff, when he speaks ex cathedra, that is, when in discharge of the office of pastor and doctor of all Christians, by virtue of his supreme apostolic authority, he defines a doctrine of
faith and morals
to be held by the universal Church, by the divine assistance promised
to him in blessed Peter, is possessed of that infallibility with which the Divine Redeemer willed that His Church should be possessed for defining doctrine
regarding faith or morals; and that therefore such definitions of the Roman Pontiff are irreformable of themselves, and
not from the consent of the Church»; and that the Roman Pontiff has «full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the universal Church,
not only in things which belong
to faith and morals, but also in those which relate
to the discipline and government of the Church spread throughout the world.»
As
to these doctrines» religious value, it seems that human beings are enjoined
not so much
to have
faith as
to regard themselves, as they are here and now, as unworthy of having
faith.
