I wanted to ask if you use
the regular Blanched almond flour or the extra fine?
I tried it in a pie crust recipe but it was dry and crumbly, so it can't be subbed in
our regular blanched almond flour recipes.

By mistake I used
regular almond flour and the bread came out just as tasty as if I had used
blanched almond flour.
I didn't have
blanched almond flour, just
regular almond flour.

Almond flour is
blanched almonds ground into a super fine
flour with a texture similar to
regular flour.
The reason I didn't use
regular almond flour (
almond meal made from ground
blanched almonds) is that de-oiled
almond flour helps achieve fluffier and lighter results.
As far as the marzipan itself, I should have started with
blanched almond flour (as the recipe suggests) instead of just using
regular almond flour.
