Smoothie bowls are a
regular visitor to my
breakfast table (who am I kidding, there is no table in this equation, I eat
breakfast standing up in the kitchen as I prep for shoots, or sitting at my desk while editing photos... but that's another story altogether).
As some of you will know,

For the next week, I'll be eating a

breakfast, because they tend to contain more calories than
regular smoothies, because they are supposed to be a whole meal.
I also do some respite care for kids and when I had some toddlers I put them onto green

breakfast (which they absolutely love) and their
regular carer took them later to the doctor because their poo was green!
The
breakfast smoothie would probably work with
regular milk too but I like to use light soya or nut milk.
Try this: Instead of your

Serve it for
breakfast with cashew - date milk (recipe below),
regular milk, or honey - sweetened yogurt; sprinkle it on ice cream; stir it into a banana
smoothie; or just snack on it straight.
Focus on eating filling, higher fiber foods at
regular mealtimes — a fruit
smoothie with spinach and protein powder for
breakfast, for example, and a veggie - filled salad with lean protein for lunch — so you'll still be able to enjoy holiday meal (and treats!)
