Could I just use
regular honey in the kava drink?
There is one honey in particular that outshines
regular honey in its nutrient profile and ability to heal: Manuka honey, produced in New Zealand by bees that pollinate the manuka bush (also known as tea tree).
I don't usually store
my regular honey in the fridge so I wasn't sure.

The second time I soaked the dates
in boiling water to soften them and then I just used a blender stick to blend the dates with sweet potato and maple syrup (much easier than a processor) I also made a budget version and used
regular cocoa powder, 1/2
honey 1/2 maple syrup, no pinenuts - just 1/2 cup of coconut flour and 1/2 cornflour, I also added chopped walnuts.
I used a little pomegranate molasses along with the
honey and
regular molasses (i was running out of the latter), and also substituted coconut oil
in place of canola.

The number of calories found
in both
honey and
regular table sugar is similar, but sugar is slightly more dense.
Just like
regular sugar,
honey contains about 350 - 370 calories per 100 grams and provides roughly the same energy content as
regular sugar: leading to a spike
in insulin levels.
Treat foods made with «healthy» sweeteners — whether that's natural cookies, yogurt with
honey or maple - sweetened granola — the same way you would foods sweetened with
regular white sugar, and eat them
in moderation to avoid gaining weight.
Unfortunately we don't have those here, so we'll have to stick to the
regular thyme
honey we use
in our cooking.

regular faces
in this neck of the woods.
