If you don't want to make the vanilla sugar almonds, you can always buy flavored almonds and substitute them instead or just use
regular roasted almonds.
Make sure to use salted almonds and not just
regular roasted almonds.

regular raw or
roasted almonds — it's all up to you.

almonds with a
roasted flavor and texture, choose those that have been «dry
