(CNN)- Though large swaths of the Muslim world cheered Osama bin Laden after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, there has been
relatively little sympathy expressed for him from those quarters since his killing Sunday - a testament to the dramatic falloff in global Muslim support for the al Qaeda leader in the last decade.

There is
little in this world for us to relate to, even in the
relatively mild - mannered protagonists with whom our
sympathies are meant to lie.
Furthermore, a community of
relatively highly paid lawyers (and accountants and architects and other professionals) who cry «unfair burden» will garner
little sympathy in the court of public opinion.
