released audiobook editions using ACX.
On April 10, when Julia Stoops's debut novel Parts per Million hits shelves as a paperback, Blackstone Audio is
releasing an audiobook edition.

This year, we have seen an uptick in simultaneous
release dates, and even some instances where the publishers have experimented with
releasing the
audiobook in advance of the print
edition.
Audiobooks are certainly finding their grove in libraries, but one of the big challenges is that the audio
editions are not
released at the same time as the print or e-Book versions.
Hot on the heels of my
release of The Dylan Hunter Thrillers Box Set ebook (see the preceding post), Audible has just published the
audiobook edition of WINNER TAKES ALL.
He writes that
releases of
audiobook editions of titles «is almost always simultaneous with the publication of the printed book, which means that the
audiobook benefits from publicity at the time of print publication, but it also reduces the time available for audio production.»
This unabridged
edition, which will be
released in 2016, will join the existing
audiobook edition of HUNTER.

edition of BAD DEEDS.
His fans, however, will not be able to read it — at least in the strictest sense of the word — until some time next year, because the novel will initially see
release exclusively as an
audiobook, with print
editions to follow at an as yet unspecified date.
