religion cured a disease?

What is left, then, is a need for thoughtful people to make some discriminations between and within
religions groups, to look for
curing impulses that are latent in faiths that so easily can spread
disease.
Essentially, this is what
religion does: it administers the
disease, then provides the
cure.
We have seen it to be a genuine
religion, and no mere silly appeal to imagination to
cure disease; we have seen its method of experimental verification to be not unlike the method of all science; and now here we find mind -
cure as the champion of a perfectly definite conception of the metaphysical structure of the world.
And in the meantime, we are heavily relying on the intellect of the atheists to use their God given giftings (which are wonderful, byu the way) to work harder on
cures for
disease, than just focusing on
religion.
Their
religion (
disease), does not want the
cure.
