Square Enix knows that
fans are drooling
over the prospect of playing FFVII on the PS3, and seeing as FFVII is one of the most beloved games of all time, a full - blown
remake would make perfect sense.
As much as I like to see the
remake on the Switch, I still can't get
over the generic,
fan - made - ish look of it either.
Western Dragon Quest
fans have been left out in the cold
over the past few years on portable platforms too, as a 3DS
remake of Dragon Quest VII saw an early 2013 release in Japan, but still remains unannounced for Western territories.

fans the world
over will argue about just how faithful (or not) Square stayed to the original.
When Nintendo announced that the all - too - short shelf life of the console
remake was officially
over, many
fans and analysts speculated that a SNES Classic, or something similar, might be on the way.
Over the years there have been a number of ports and
fan remakes such as this one, these include ports to DOS, Nintendo Entertainment System, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, ColecoVision and many others.
I'm not a Final Fantasy
fan, but my wife is (and she's gone
over what she thinks the
remake needs to do here), and I have friends who are, so I can recognize the significance of this announcement (even if the game isn't a PlayStation exclusive).
Night Dive Studios is asking for $ 900,000 to make the System Shock
remake a reality; at the time of this post, dedicated
fans have already contributed

fan of the original Majora's Mask, playing this
remake is an obvious decision, but even if you're like me and you weren't particularly fond of the game when it was originally released
over 15 years ago, you might be surprised at how inventive Majora's Mask really is.
