removing wheat and dairy from my diet, trying different things to get my inflamation down and my autoimmune diseases under control.
Just a reminder... the primary purpose of LDN is diagnostic, not curative... it will tell if the opioid system is involved, and because it affects the opioid system differently at different times of day (first blocking it then increasing its stimulation by elevating natural endorphins)... she might find it has a palliative effect, I hope that's the case... she definitely should
remove wheat and dairy from her diet in any case.

For us, it meant a diet high in healing foods like bone broth (great for skin)
and healthy fats
and removing certain foods including gluten
and casein (
wheat and dairy).
If you are interested in learning what these habitual relationships mean for you, personally, I ask that you consider
removing addictive consumptions from your life — alcohol, coffee, sugar,
wheat,
dairy — so that you can quiet reward pathways, silence inflammatory alarm responses,
and eat more informationally dense foods.
That means eating only organic foods as much as possible,
and removing large proteins from the diet that are seen as foreign by our immune systems like gluten (from
wheat for example)
and casein (from
dairy).
Likewise, because of the strong immunological role for rosacea, potentially antigenic foods including
wheat (i.e. gluten)
and dairy should be
removed from diet.
Whether you now believe that
removing Wheat,
Dairy, Soy
and Corn from your diet is a good idea, or still need convincing, it doesn't hurt to take the «elimination diet» challenge.
It is recommended to
remove caffeine, nicotine, alcohol,
and other foods that you may have an allergenic response too such as
wheat products (gluten), soy products, corn,
and conventionally
dairy as these can be irritants to your gut.
