142 (1) Part XIV.1 of the Employment Standards Act, as it read immediately before its
repeal by this Act, continues to apply only with respect to wages that became due and owing before the Employee
Wage Protection Program was discontinued and only if the employee to whom the wages were owed provided a certificate of claim, on a form prepared by the Ministry, to the Program Administrator before the day on which this section comes into force.
