Hi, I'm following the AIP diet for a couple months, I was wondering if you think I could
replace the cashew butter with coconut butter instead and leave out nuts and chocolate??

You could try using pumpkin seed or sunflower seed
butter to
replace the nut
butter but sadly I haven't tried a good enough substitute for the
cashew nuts!
I have never seen
cashew butter, so we
replaced that with ground
cashews.

butter, and pecan

But you could experiment (if you don't have a nut sensitivity) with

cashew butter, as it's a little more bland (better canvas for other flavors), and you could use it to
replace both the tahini AND the coconut
butter in the cleanse (if you wanted), thus saving you $ $!

replace a quarter cup of the egg whites with unsweetened applesauce, buttery spread, oil, or
cashew butter so they stay moist.
I used almond
butter for the filling, but you can easily
replace it with peanut
butter to nail that Reese's flavor, or experiment with a fancier nut
butter like macadamia nut
butter or
cashew butter.
The biggest change I would suggest is to
replace the peanut
butter with tree nut
butters (almond,
cashew, any will work) or, better yet, egg yolks (more nutritious).
