One question: Would
replacing rye flour with normal plain flour make a huge difference?
I often
replace rye flour with that combo or just with straight buckwheat flour.
would I be able to
replace rye flour with whole - wheat flour without changing the flavour too much?

For wheat free people the cup of wheatgerm can be
replaced with another cup of
rye flour.
But, inspired by it, I've started
replacing a quarter of the
flour in my own banana bread recipe with the
rye flour and it turns out lovely.
Not sure which
flour would work best to
replace rye, and I'd love to make these.
I adapted the original recipe to the use of Maroggia's Mill
rye flour, but you can always
replace with any other kind of
flour.
