You unlock further levels based on the amount of medals you have, so, while you can skip tough levels, or get by with a bronze, you'll find
yourself replaying earlier tracks to try to get a gold and unlock the next race.

There is unfortunately no
track editor which is disappointing given that previous Micro Machines games as
early as Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament on DOS and Micro Machines: Turbo Tournament «96 on SEGA Mega Drive have had a strong
track editor as a form of infinite
replay value, while the PS2 release of Micro Machines V4 in 2006 also provided a
track editor.
It's a bit of a shame that
replay angles were not standardised
earlier, as the jump from PS1 to the other platforms can be rather jarring, but rest assured, these are the same corners on the same
tracks - an evolution of both Polyphony Digital's development prowess and indeed the raw hardware power of the PlayStation consoles.
